Is there something fun to do on Hood, or in the surrounding area, that you know about and we haven't posted? Drop a comment here and announce your ideas to the world (or, at least, to the wedding guests!). Hood River is pretty cool. Long boarding down the Timberline Road would be pretty adventuresome! Just down the road from the Mazama Lodge is this sweet spot to go sliding. Again, details are on the website. Personally, I've never done it...Geoff has, though. Could be a fun option for the younger crowds...

Wanna go hiking?

There's all sorts of activities on the mountain in the summer, but one of the cheapest and most rewarding, I'd have to say, is hiking. On our website, if you haven't found it already, is a huge list of hikes...I'd assume you'd been there, since you arrived here on this blog. Anyhow, if you're looking for some hiking partners in crime, some people to either show you the ropes, or to take with you if you're an area expert, I'd suggest that you respond to this post. Or maybe you know the area but you want a ride because you chose to leave your auto behind. Or, or, or. Either way, you want cohorts for a hiking extravaganza, drop a comment to this post.
